Roost Live Anywhere ("Roost") is operated by Jordan Eady, who acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the service.
2. What we collect and why

Payment card data is collected directly by Paddle and never reaches Roost's servers.
3. Who we share data with
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve the site and its database.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for checkout, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, subscription management, and refunds.
- Email delivery providers for transactional messages such as receipts and inquiry notifications.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
We do not sell personal data.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
We keep account and listing data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes, fraud investigations, and legal obligations. Purchase and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable tax law. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK users also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise a right, contact Jordan Eady using the support channels on the site; we aim to respond within one month.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and hardened authentication — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; if you become aware of a vulnerability, please report it.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. Paddle's checkout may set its own cookies to process payments. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser.
9. Changes
We may update this notice. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
